VisitScotland launched a virtual reality app that enables prospective visitors to view 26 of the country’s top attractions in a bid to inspire them to visit them for real. It has been described as a “ground-breaking travel experience” that allows people around the world to be “immersed in Scotland’s remarkable attractions”.
“VR is revolutionising the way people choose the destinations they might visit by allowing them to ‘try before they buy’ and learn more about the country in a unique and interactive way.”
Shell created a Virtual Reality Activation experience that allows participants to mimic conducting a pit stop against the clock for the first time. All participants will receive a video link of their run, with the fastest teams earning a place on the leaderboard with the top squad winning fuel vouchers.
