This is a great time to learn how to create a Virtual Reality Experience yourself.
Curiosity Campus, together with Virtual Reality studio SenseVirtual, is offering a course that will show you the ropes.
This year, three high end Virtual Reality headsets are released to the public.
The Oculus Rift, Sony’s Playstation VR and the HTC Vive.
Last year millions of Mobile Virtual Reality headsets went to market such as Google Cardboard and Samsung Gear VR.
This is the perfect time to learn the to create content and experiences for this exciting new medium.
Using the free versions of Unity and other 3D modeling software, we will teach you:
- The capabilities of the Oculus & HTC vive (yes you will definitely be trying it out for yourself!)
- How to model objects in 3D with VR
- Basic animation in VR
- Lighting i3D in VR
- Adding interactivity to a Virtual Reality environment
At the end of the course, you will have created a Virtual Reality environment with all of the above components, render it and test it yourself in Virtual Reality. We will direct you to the best follow-up resources and will facilitate you if you want to continue your learning independently after the course is done.
